Reelig Glen, near Kirkhill, west of Inverness, in the Scottish Highlands. A peaceful woodland walk follows the burn beneath towering conifers, said to include some of the tallest trees in Britain. In early November the glen is full of autumn colour, with golden beech leaves, mossy stone bridges and soft, silky water flowing between the boulders.
